In recent years, the momentum of cooperation between China and Central Asian countries has continued to grow, with economic and trade ties flourishing. The collaboration is marked by rapid progress, vast potential and promising prospects, echoing new “camel bells” along the Silk Road.

　　Recently, construction began on three major tunnels, namely the Fergana Mountain, Naryn No.1 and Koshtetube within the Kyrgyz section of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway. These key control projects signify that the railway has entered the substantive phase of mainline construction. The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway begins in Kashgar, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, crosses the Turugart Pass into Kyrgyzstan, then heads west through the Kyrgyz’s border city Jalalabad, and ends in Andijan in eastern Uzbekistan. As a strategic project between China and Central Asia, the completion of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway will significantly boost regional connectivity.

　　In recent years, major projects including the China-Central Asia natural gas pipeline, China-Kazakhstan crude oil pipeline, China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan highway, and China-Tajikistan highway have been successfully completed. Freight trains running between China and Europe via Central Asia have rapidly developed, weaving a dense logistics network and building bridges of mutual benefit. These developments have solidified economic ties between Central Asian countries and key Eurasian economies, paving the way for a new level of China-Central Asia economic and trade cooperation.
